The Funeral Ministry supports families as they prepare the Funeral Mass following the death of a loved one.

There are options available – either a Funeral Mass or a Funeral Liturgy can be conducted in the Church. We can also offer funeral services at a funeral home, a crematorium, or at the graveside.

Working with a Funeral Ministry team member, families are guided through planning the Funeral Mass, including:

• Selecting Scripture readings (follow this LINK to printable readings from the Old and New Testament readings)
• Choosing family members or friends to proclaim the readings
• Selecting music (follow this LINK to a list of appropriate music selections)
• Choosing those who will present the offertory gifts
• Identifying others who will participate in the liturgy

The ministry also prepares a personalized funeral Mass program.

Upon request, the Church Hall may be available for a gathering following the funeral.
